It’s time to celebrate with a 2024 client Photo of the Year contest and YOU get to choose the winner!
As a way to give back to the amazing families who trusted me this year, I’m hosting my first-ever year-end photo contest!
At the start of 2023, I made a decision to quiet my fears and fully embrace being a professional photographer.
Fast forward to now, and I’ve gone from a handful of sessions in 2023 to nearly 30 in 2024—and every single one has been a privilege.
I chose my favorite image from each session, but the best is up to you, your friends, and your family.
Take a look at some of my favorite client photographs from 2024, click the link to vote and help reward my clients with some free stuff!
Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Round One: Click the link to cast your vote through a simple Google Form. Every session from 2024 is represented with a single photo—your votes will narrow it down to the top 8. Voting for Round 1 starts December 13 and end on December 18!
2️⃣ Round Two: The top 8 photos from Round 1 will be featured on my Instagram, where you’ll vote to determine the ultimate winner! Voting for Round 2 starts December 18 and the overall winner will be announced on December 20.
The client photo with the most votes after both rounds will win the Grand Prize: a FREE session in 2025! But that's not all—there are prizes for second and third place, too! (see details below)

1st Place - Free Photo Session
Free session includes:
Session fee ($200 value)
Collection A - 10 free digital images and $100 print credit to spend in my online store ($600 value)
2nd Place - Gorgeous Bi-Fold Folio
A 5x7 duo linen folio with two images from your 2024 session. Stand alone or folds nicely on a bookshelf.
3rd place - A High Quality Calendar
A 6x9 calendar displayed on wood stand with twelve images from your 2024 session.

This contest isn’t just about the prize—it’s about celebrating the families, the memories, and the trust you’ve given me to capture your stories. Photographing your playful moments has been the best thing about 2024.
Rules and Regulations
- There will be 2 rounds
- Round 1 will run from December 13-18, 2024. It will take place via Google Forms here on my website.
- Only 1 vote per person for round 1
- After round 1 we will narrow it down to 8 images
- After the 1st round, we will narrow the competition down to 10 images.
- Round 2 will take place on Instagram and run from Dec 18-20, 2024
- Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. Good Luck 🙂
- Round 1 will end on 12/18/2024 at 12 pm
- Round 2 will end on 12/20/2024 at 12 pm
- Votes will reset after each round
- Any use of automation, fake accounts, bots, or 3rd party apps will immediately disqualify you
- All images chosen were taken and nominated by LR Photos.
- If anyone who is represented on the photograph wants the image removed from the competition. I will immediately remove the entry
- Announcement will be made on the LR Photos Instagram page on 12/20/2024
- Grand prize winner MUST schedule a session between 01/04/2025 & 05/31/2025 – or the prize will be forfeited
- Photo Session must be held within 30 miles of downtown Grand Rapids
- Expect 25 images from the session
- No prize may be transferred or substituted for its cash value
