I recently spent a couple of nights away ALONE! It was exactly what I needed to refresh and dedicate time to my business.

It's the middle of March and there's still snow on the ground here in Grand Rapids, Michigan but when I walked into the Airbnb it felt like spring. The host (Heather) had a blooming Magnolia on the table! My favorite flower. I was in awe. Those first few seconds set the tone for the rest of my stay. I felt pampered, peaceful, and rejuvenated.

Incredulously, I asked Heather how she came to be in possession of a blooming Magnolia in March and she told me a neighbor had thrown the broken branch in the trash. She put it in a vase on her table and it bloomed!

This Airbnb listing is only for "professional women" as the entry is inside the hosts home. Don't let that deter you though because the space was perfect. My friends know that whenever I'm looking for an Airbnb, I ask if it passes the "Pillow Test". Do the pillows look cozy, inviting and fluffy?

Yes, they were so cozy.
